Usage

Apply the Mascara in a zig-zag motion: Hold the brush at a diagonal to the direction of lash growth and move it back and forth. To finish, drag the brush away to the side.

Very pleased with this product.

Volume Mascara

The best mascara I have ever used. Coats the lashes really well, doesn’t flake off and is easy to remove. I love there is a brown colour option which suits my complexion more.

Beautiful Aubergine colour.

I love this mascara and have been using it for years. It's very hard to find an Aubergine coloured mascara for my green eyes, especially an organic one!
The only reason that I haven't given 5 stars as it sometimes flakes and bits go in my eyes.

I on the whole like the product I just lack some definition compared to some other mascara’s

Perhaps a smaller brush which separates the lashes But I do love the plum colour for bringing out the blue in my eyes.

Lovely colour

This is a great alternative colour for day wear, black is a bit harsh for me so I prefer browns and plums. This stays on very well during the day without smudge. I would prefer the brush of the defining version as it smooths the lashes better. Will buy it again,

Really nice formula and brush coverage

Really nice formula, good brush and good mascara coverage and mixture. Just a little messy taking off, not waterproof neither. Would definitely buy again but would love a waterproof version for my wedding please!! X

Volume mascaea

I've been using the volume mascara in plum for many years and love it. It can be a bit clumpy at first but I just comb through with a brush. The lovely colour and rich texture make it worthwhile.

Excellent mascara that makes your eyes 'pop up' in a lovely natural and radiant manner. Recommended!

Very happy with this mascara and it is a big improvement on the previous one which was a bit too waxy for me.

This new mascara beautifully and easily coats the lashes, leaving them black and shiny giving me that natural pretty and healthy look which I am after and which Dr Hauschka products deliver every time.

What's more, not being the most conscientious face make up cleaner in the evening, I sometimes forget to wipe off my mascara before the bed, but unlike other 'high end' mascaras that I used to use, this one does not pull out my lashes in sleep, nor does it chip the ends of my lashes like others have done, but instead it leaves my lashes gently nourished (not that I recommend leaving any make up at night!), albeit with my eyes a wee bit smudged but not as much as other mascaras have done

I love it and will keep buying it in the future especially as it is such a good value and you know that it will naturally nourish the lashes and make you effortlessly look pretty.

Fabulous

Comfortable all day even on my bottom lashes and makes my lashes look long and hydrated. It never clogs up or goes lumpy like some brands I've tried in the past have. Outright fabulous, my go-to.

good coverage

I like this mascara and it gives good cover and goes on well, but I find it smudges quite easily. Maybe it is not meant to be waterproof?

Brush too large.

For me the brush on this mascara is too large. When it is new and very wet it is easy for it to go all over the place.

I preferred the smaller brush but couldn't see one on offer when buying. Are you only offering one mascara now? If so I will probably look for another brand. Shame as I prefer to use Dr Hauschka.

Love this mascara!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this mascara! I ordered it because I wanted to start using a non toxic mascara, and was willing to accept the compromise that the quality might not be as good as "conventional" mascaras. However, this one is better than all of the other "normal" ones I have tried! It gives great volume, length, separation, it goes on easily, and lasts all day. I'm completely converted!

Excellent texture. Best mascara I've used.

I really like this mascara. Good strong black. Most mascaras smudge or come off my eyes after a short time, but this lasts all day which is brilliant especially considering it is water soluble. It works to use either a small amount or apply more layers for something dramatic. I use a dab of organic primer on eyes and lashes before applying and this helps it to stay in place too. I'm allergic to a lot of makeup products, but no problems with this. More colours in this range would be great.

Love this mascara

Thank goodness a mascara that doesn't sting my eyes, pretty good volume and lengthening for a natural product. The only thing is it is REALLY not waterproof but the positives outweight the negatives for this product.

Smudges easily due to new packaging

Used to love this mascara in the old gold packaging but now they have made a modern plastic packaging that cannot control the amount of mascara that comes out and always gets smudged when putting it on

Mascara

Unfortunately I found that this mascara always tended to smudge even if I only used it on the top eyelashes. I have very sensitive eyes, and the odour given off by the mascara actually seems to affect my eyes. I do not have this problem with other mascaras. So disappointing, as I really like the fact that Dr Hauschka does not use preservatives or harsh chemicals in their beauty products.
